The peak level output capacity of the Swans F1 will rarely ever be reached...  

The speaker market offers a wide selection of many different sizes, types and designs. However, those who own a large listening space realize that the selection of appropriate high-end speakers is reduced to a few very cost-intensive models. The Swans F1.1 Flagship Series modular system is designed for large spaces at a somewhat more modest price level than its larger panel brothers. It consists of a high-midrange assembly which handles the upper frequencies. The highest frequencies are driven by the RT1.3 isodynamic ribbon tweeter. The high-to-midrange spectrum is complimented by the 28 mm soft silk-dome TN28.2 and convinces with a very natural sound image with practically no distortion whatsoever. This tweeter arrangement has been used worldwide for several years in various Swans high-end speakers. The user base, one could think, is as large as the number of copies and cheap replicas trying, unsuccessfully, to match our achievement. The result of this development is the synthesis of a very precise and complete presentation of high frequency information, crucial for the exact reproduction of the recording microphones' input ('staging') cues, in conjunction with a very pleasant sound without sharpness of any sort - even at high volumes. The Swans PD6 chassis used for the midrange spectrum is encased in its own sealed enclosure to ensure dynamic and impulse response necessary for the complete absence of any kind of discoloration. For the low-frequency range also no expense or effort was spared: no less than four (!) 25cm high-power handling capacity Swans D-10.8 woofers with internally placed neodymium magnets and over-sized voice coils, in two separate bass-reflex enclosures per speaker in D'Appolito array, are able to reproduce Tchaikovsky's cannon blasts as well as bombastic rock concerts or unforgettable home theater sound. The impressive modular construction of this extremely stable-sounding high-end speaker ensures an effective decoupling of the high-midrange assembly from the bass enclosures. Powered by amplifiers with sufficiently sized power supplies, the F1.1 system presents bass dynamics seldom available elsewhere. At 116 kg and 175 cm height it is obvious that these most stylish high-end speakers were not initially conceived for small rooms.
